Barcelona blue skies

On the 24 bus today, from San Antoni metro station to Park Guell at the north end of the city, we passed through small streets, and through the clear windows under the blue skies, an Art Deco city unfurled, beautiful building fronts with curved glassed-in balconies and Tiffany-like stained glass decorating them, swirls of white waves on light-green background, and streets below lined with what seems like hundreds of Magnolia trees, and you can almost smell the fragrance when they’re in bloom, and at the end of the bus ride, Park Guell, with its incredible vision of a reality that is almost legendary in its beauty. Tilted columns and mosaics, open-mouthed lizards.
