First Friday at the Natural History Museum

First Fridays Banner

This Friday, April 3 is the first Friday of the month. The Natural History Museum has a wonderful monthly event called “First Fridays” (read about it here), and this year is dedicated to Darwin’s 200th birthday.

These are the details for Friday’s free event: (sorry, it’s not free, it’s $9–I was a guest last time, which is why I thought it was free! oops..)

5:30pm & 6:00pm: TOUR

Tour of the Entomology Collections with Dr. Brian Brown

6:30pm: DISCUSSION

“Darwin’s Other Great Theory: Sexual Selection, or Why Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus?” with Dr. Michael J. Ryan

7:00pm-10:00pm: MUSIC

Bus Driver, The Phatal DJ and T-Kay (dublab.com)

See you there!

  1. Thanks for the suggestion, Sedona! I am actually planning to visit the museum in the next few weeks, and I’ll report back on it. I checked out two fantastic books on the Gabrielinos, both put out by the Southwest museum.
